Welcome to the DTF Station family!

This guide will help you get started, protect your warranty, and keep your printer running at its best.

Before doing anything else:

Locate your DTF Station laminated booklet.
Scan each QR code in order to watch videos for assembly, setup, software, and maintenance.

Watch all video resources related to your product(s):

Register for the Discord app (mobile, desktop, or both) so you can access the DTF Station support community.
Tip: Once inside Discord, mute channels you don’t need to avoid unnecessary notifications.

If you purchased your printer from Absolute Toner:

You get priority Discord support - your chat will display a tag that shows as “Absolute Toner” customer with a Canadian flag.
You get lifetime chat and phone support (free after the first year) as long as:
- You are in good standing with our company.
- You have purchased at least $550 CAD in DTF supplies in the last year.
- Absolute Toner's dedicated phone support number is 289-487-0225
  Technical support is available from 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

One-year limited parts warranty from the date of purchase.
Printhead warranty: Most cases — 6 months (1 printhead).
To keep your warranty active:
- Attendance at your live virtual DTF Station training is required within 3 weeks of the purchase date.

- You must return the signed completion form.
- Failure to complete training will result in a downgrade of your warranty to 3 months, with parts coverage only (no printhead coverage).

Shake spare inks daily:
- CMYK inks: 15–30 seconds.
- White ink: 1–2 minutes (heavier titanium dioxide particles).
All direct-to-film white ink is subject to separation if left unattended for too long.
It is critical that any white ink is agitated in a timely manner, especially ink stored outside of the printer.
Before pouring into tanks:
1. Shake.
2. Let sit 5–10 minutes for bubbles to dissipate.
3. Pour into container.
If ink is old or near expiry:
- Discard if clumps remain after shaking or if smell/color is unusual.
Storage tips:
- Store in a cool, dark place.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat.
- Avoid extreme cold to prevent pigment separation.
We recommend our White Ink Shaker to prevent settling and clumping.

Perform nozzle checks before printing.
Clean the capping station, wiper blade, and surrounding areas if needed.
Another very important tip to remember – other than Prestige R1 (which cup needs to be fully closed) – is to keep the printer ink container cups slightly open for airflow.
