1- HP Deskjet 3845 takes very good photos ( even without photo ink ): time for A4 in best mode 8 min ,in maxi dpi 12 min . 2- no much difference between best and maxi dpi unless you concentrate on the picture (you will see small dots ). 3- HP Deskjet 3845 is good and fast in fast draft mode and very good in fast normal (don't use best mode in text unless you change the setting to black catridge only because the text won't appear black).
