The JFX200-2531 dual-bed printer increases productivity by enabling printing to continue from one origin while the other is being loaded or unloaded. With dual origin points, two or more boards or position jigs can be loaded onto the table for continuous printing – while one board is printing, the next one can be mounted and prepared without stopping production. A standard ionizer bar greatly reduces image quality issues that can be caused by static electricity.

Mimaki loyalists have been waiting for a significantly larger-sized model and the JFX200-2531 certainly delivers. The new printer has twice the area as the JFX200-2513 entry model and is compatible with media as large as 2.5 x 3.1 m. So, printing on the following items is now a breeze:

Toggle Print Function
Mimaki’s new toggle feature allows for loading and unloading the print material of one side while printing continuously on the other side.
This efficient technique minimizes production time and streamlines the manufacturing process.
Advanced Suction Valves
Whatever materials you’re printing on can be secured to the table by means of a vacuum. There are now four suction areas that are all separately controlled by their own valve switch. Power can be adjusted by controlling the vacuum at any unused area.
Operators can adjust the power without even accessing the control panel by using a vacuum pedal. The added stability for print materials will improve printing accuracy and create higher quality products.
Mimaki Clear Control (MCC)
Also new to this model, the MCC feature adds a gloss, matte or embossed finish to desired areas.
While these types of finishes can often be ruined by dust sticking to uncured inks, MCC shortens the time needed for ink curing by processing the clear ink print and UV-light irradiation simultaneously.
The Mimaki JFX200-2531 extended-bed UV-LED flatbed printer is based on the popular JFX200-2513 printer, with double the print area and twin independent vacuum pumps to increase productivity by enabling printing to continue from one origin while the other is prepared.
Dual-origin table: With dual origin points, two 4- by 8-foot boards, oversized 8- by 10-foot boards, multiple position jigs or smaller pre-cut pieces can be loaded onto the table for continuous printing. While one section (origin point) is printing, the operator can unload a finished board from the previous section and affix the next board without stopping production.
Precise placement and hold: Standard layout pins per origin and scale ensure board alignment for repeatable, accurate media placement. Two vacuum zones per origin point hold media flat. Two independent vacuum pumps feed a total of four vacuum zones for maximum media control.
Mimaki Advanced Pass System (MAPS): WFC utilizes finely tuned frequencies for each ink’s specific gravity and viscosity to precisely shape and place individual drops, producing images that are optimized even at lower resolutions.
