New GBL-free eco-solvent ink "SS22"

Inks for general eco-solvent printers contain an ingredient (GBL) whose use has been increasingly regulated worldwide in recent years. SS22, first installed in the CJV200 Series, is a new eco-solvent ink that does not contain GBL and is safer for operators than ever before.

The SS22 ink inherits the weather resistance, dryness, and other features of SS21 ink, which has long been popular in the market, and is the best-class in the industry, and can be switched to CJV200 from conventional machines with confidence. It is also sold in a paper cartridge format that significantly reduces the amount of plastic used, making it an environmentally friendly solution.

*2 The use of 1L/2L ink packs requires OPT-J0364 MBIS3 (Mimaki Bulk Ink System 3) and OPT-J0576 MBIS BKT OPT (attachment), which are options sold separately.
*3 600 ml ink pack requires eco cartridge (OPT-J0361: ECO CASE 4). Eco cartridges can be used repeatedly by replacing ink packs.
